New Addition to the Family
September 29, 2008
JD decided to hop on the wakeskate and get owned on a new rail that he had built for the new hyperlite video. Luckly I pulled out my camera to capture the magic.

Later on in the night we headed out for a night on the town. On our way back we decided to snag a construction barrel to see if we can put it to good use throughout the making of this next video.

Peepin Scenes
September 20, 2008
Im back in Winter Haven at Club 506, the band is back together and today was kinda a relax day, the lakes were blown out and it seems like everyone has been riding alot lately so rest was much needed. I spent most of my day trying to figure out Adobe After Effects while everyone else was out on the golf links. Once they got back though Jeff Jimmy and I went over to check out a canal wall that they were interested in GRINDING. After we did a quick recon we decided that shit was going down. Jimmy got the jet ski and jeff and I got everything set up. I was planning on getting some dolly shots but the wall is in an odd spot so I didnt really get anything too great, luckly we will be able to hit it a ton so I have time to figure out what to do to get the right shot. Jimmy and Jeff started to get comfortable on it by the end. It ended up being productive though because everyone was able to figure the spot out…..Ballin!
Expo Bro
September 15, 2008
So for the first weekend in Florida I spent most of my time indoors, although the AC is a nice relief to the moist humidity. A lot of things went down this weekend at surf expo, wake awards, everyone won there respectful titles, and the big news as everyone knows Danny Harf landed a 1260. Being there and seeing the video and reaction of everyone was one of the coolest things I have witnessed in wakeboarding… that was friday night.
After expo on saturday everyone went to Red Bull wake lab. Probably one of the coolest rail contest ever set up. They used the new two tower cable system for pulling and everyone shredded there faces off. The whole course was all one unit, and everything was gigantic. Later that night everyone went to wall street in downtown orlando and got there party on. Kyle Alberts jumped a greyhound bus for the new video Global Warning which he will be featured in.
On sunday I headed back to expo to meet up with Alex and to have some last minute meetings about financial backing. This surf expo I would say was a great experience, everyone I talked actually listened to what I had to say so basically things are kinda looking up. After expo Alex Scagliotti, Nick J, and I headed back to Nicks house in Mt Dora to get some shredding on.

I woke up this morning at 645 and headed out to the airport. Once I got to the airport I got everything check in and made it past security. Once getting past the pat downs and Xray machines I never really realized that airports are turning into malls. There are Starbucks, electronics stores, convenience stores, clothing stores, bars, and restaurants. I past through consumption junction and headed to the gate just in time to run into the Ennens which were coincidentally on the same plane. We hopped on the plane and sat through some slight turbulance for five hours and then arrived to the muggy and unpredictable weather of Florida. Derek Grasman picked me up and we drove through some sketchy rain but made it back home safely. Im stoked to get some work done down here. Stay tuned because im going to be updating regularly down here.
Last Day of the Northwest
September 11, 2008
But anyways the last day of the trip went amazing. I thought that after that day of wind it was there to stay, but I was woken up by Greg Young (owner of Northwest Riders clothing) at 6:30 AM. He was woken up by the lack of wind concidering he was sleeping outside in the NWR Boat. We rallied the troops and headed out to the water. There was some slight wind chop but we found a nice spot in the river and got to work. We thought that this conciderable lack of wind was a fluke and it would pick up as it got warmer. Everyone got a set in and sure enough the wind started to pick up. We made our way back to the boat launch and started to empty the sacks. By the time the sacks were all empty I kind of noticed a shift in the wind so we decided to wait it out a little to see what happened. Amazingly it cleared up and the water glassed out. We all got stoked filled the sacks back up and everyone took another marathon set. We started on the water around 7AM and didnt get off till 2PM, it was a good morning Greg and I even hit some triple ups.
After the morning expression session we went back to the cabin and got all packed up. by 3PM we were out of there and on our way back to our homes. Everyone had a good time on this trip and we deffinately got some work done.
Wind BLOWS!
September 6, 2008
So I set up a trip to my cabin over in Desert Aire which is in Eastern Washington. The goal was to get alot of work done with Robby Carter, Thomas Olson, and Alex Scagliotti. My friend AJ is here to take pictures for wakeboardnorthwest.com. We tried this trip last year and we got two good days of riding, then the wind picked up for three straight days. My cabin is located on the 11th green of the Desert Aire golf course, so while we are waiting for the conditions we either spend our time watching golf or playing heated games of guitar hero. We wake up early and have to wait for the wind to die down around 930 AM. So far we have gotten quite a few usable shots and have been having a blast.

We just finished our last full day here and the wind didnt really die down to much in the morning so we decided to head a little farther down river to hide from the wind. Once we got down the river we found glass water but decided to let the light get a little lower considering it was 1PM so we swam and listened to music. The second we put a pump in the water to fill up the fatsacs the wind picked up a ridiculous amount and we werent even able to ride….so…..day wasted. I hate the wind. We started to head back and found out that the other part of the river where the boat launch was had swells that were getting to about two and a half feet which made putting the boats on the launch very difficult and scary. Tomorrow morning is our last chance to get some stuff so hopefully it works out.
Mooching Whips In Central Oregon pt2
August 28, 2008
(spencer) So Rob and I woke up this morning and we had all these cool things planned but instead of doing them we road bikes to Cibellis.
After that Alex was able to set us up another boat, so we met up with Del and Justin Barber. It just so happens that Del is an ultimate fighter and a totally nice guy. We headed out to Lake Billy Chinook, which is a really popular lake out here in central Oregon but for good reason. The whole lake is lined with a tone of rock walls that shoot straight up out of the water a few hundred feet, and all the rock is twisted and jaged drawing intrecate lines up every wall. The weather didnt cooperate to well today, everywhere we went the wind seemed to follow. We ran a few lines and hopefully got a couple of good shots. Even though we didnt get to much work done today the scenery is enough to humble you to natures power and majestic remains. After we pulled the boat out we headed back to call it a night. Alex and I are hanging out in Robbys down stairs and Robby is out to the bars, how that happened i dont know, but we are stoked for tomorrow.
