I can totally relate to this video and this has happened to me countless times.  I would be up late working and would forget to save before bed.  The next morning I come down and my computer would be frozen or something and for some strange reason the auto save didn’t work.  I would shut down my CPU and when I boot it back up I find that all of the work I did wasnt saved, and due to some weird mess up a file is missing or something of that nature.  I think this video was made to express the frustration that we video editors face.

Everyone knows that Shaun White is a bad ass.  Everything he touches he is amazing at.  In the winter of 2009 he teamed up with Red Bull (most awesome company EVER) to creat a custom half pipe in the back country of Colorado.  For most of the year it seemed like this was a huge rumor.  Now Red Bull has released a video series on their site about Project X.  It would take two months and 30 heli bombs to drop enough avalanches to make the snow deep enough for them to make the super pipe which features a foam pit.  Shaun White is set to blow everyone away with his new arsenal of tricks.  You can check out video after video about Project X and Shaun Whites new quiver of moves.

I despise nothing more than shows like Americas Got Talent and American Idol.  Not because of the talent that shows up but because it’s so over dramatic and it takes forever to get a final result, BUT there is a new show that is called the Sing Off.  I honestly have not been more impressed with a competition in a long time.  The show is based on 9 singing groups that have nothing but there voices, that means no music or anything in the back round.  A lot of times you forget that there is no music playing because they are so good.  It’s on NBC starting at 8 so you should start checking it out, and if you have missed any you can check it out on NBC

I hate fishing shows and cant believe anyone can actually watch them.

Who doesnt love watching someone try to impress someone.  I know I do, especially when it is so obviouse that they are trying to impress you.

I recently inherited a bunch of old camera stuff from my grandpa.  I was excited when my dad called up asking if I wanted all of this stuff.  For one I love the look of old film equipment and I have been looking into taking film photos.  Just a little hobby, you know how I do.  I got the Nikon FE which is from the 70s and Zeiss Contessa from the 50s.  Both cameras look really well-engineered, and nothing like the cameras of today.  I am starting to figure out how to take pictures with them but I am finding it difficult with the Contessa.  I will be sure to post some of the pictures I take up when I get them developed.

It seems like now a days the new hot thing to have is the SLR cameras that take HD video.  The quality is amazing and you are able to get that photo depth of field while filming.  I found this on vimeo and really likes it alot.  I plan on doing alot of this kind of filming while I am back home.  Its random clips filmed over five month time. Filmed on location in Sweden in Malmö, Göteborg, Värmland and Skåne and all shot on the Nikon D90
